“Save Newspapers”

This is a website I created as a final project for a class at Michigan. The class, “Using Websites to Make Effective Arguments,” required students to make an argument based on a topic they’re interested in and create a website to support it. For my project, I argued that faulty business models would cause many major newspapers to die off in the next few years, and that this would have negative effects on American society.

I wrote the content appearing on each page and created the CSS from scratch. I am in the process of making the website compatible with a CMS so that users can comment on the pages and add feedback to my research.

For my efforts, I received an 4.0 in the class. My project was used as an example for future classes.
